Rovers specialize in moving on extraterrestrial terrains. Evidently rovers named Pathfinder, Sojourner, Curiosity landed on the surface of Mars & Moon and drove around to different locations. Rovers help scientists in their quest to understand the topography and geometry of planetary terrains.
The prototype have been successfully designed, manufactured & assembled and is capable of accumulating a huge range of multi-utility features. Few to mention are that this is capable of moving on high & low terrains. The Rover has a tilt withstanding capacity of 45 degrees with a stable chassis. Also it is capable of giving real time atmospheric data. The vehicle is wirelessly controlled & can be accessed over internet too.
Its prime components consist of powered wheels. suspension & chassis, electronic layout.
Its futuristic work under progress consists of installation of differential system to the chassis, making it solar powered with soil testing, camera surveillance, object & environment Sensing.
